After School Clubs
We love after school clubs. We generally work with smaller groups, enabling our students to learn in a more explorative and informal way. We often work with targeted groups (G+T, students lacking in confidence etc.) in order provide tailored learning opportunities that ensure each students really get the most out of the session. We are accredited to run Explore and Discover Arts Award sessions and have run many arts award projects during club time.

After school clubs £100 per session + materials. Arts Award accredited clubs will vary. Free planning meeting with the school.
We developed a sewing project for KS1 children at St. Luke's Primary in order to help develop their fine motor skills, patience and resilience.
Can you make a drawing without using your hands? Can you make a drawing of something you can't see? Can you make a drawing using something that you can't see?.....We posed these questions and more as part of our experimental drawing sessions at St. Luke's. Click to watch a film about the project.
We worked with the young people at Spotlight, a youth space in Poplar, to promote creative entrepreneurship. The young people designed and made lino printed bags, T-shirts and greeting cards that will be sold at the upcoming Bow Arts Open market.
We worked with a group of G+T students at Old Palace Primary to develop their digital art skills. Students used Photoshop to manipulate drawings inspired by the work of Michael Craig Martin. The Photoshop work was then transferred onto ceramic plates and exhibited at the Carmelite Cafe in Bow.
Using the work of artist Annette Messenger as a starting point, we explored 3D portraiture with a group of KS2 students, creating "face pillows" that combined drawing and textiles.
We explored the basics of animation with a group of KS2 students. The project touched on storyboarding, claymation and prop / scenery making. A great project for teaching patience and perseverance!
We worked with a group of G+T Yr. 6 students to develop their understanding of abstract art with a specific focus on sculpture. Students explored the work of Eva Hesse, Barbra Hepworth and Poppy Green to help inspire their responses to the theme.
We set the young people at Spotlight a brief to develop a public sculpture for Chrisp St. Market; an area next door to Spotlight currently being re-developed. Students created drawings and sculptures in response to the theme, and visualised their proposals in Photoshop.
We worked with KS2 students at St. Luke's Primary to develop their understanding of printing processes. We explored collagraph, lino, polyblock and mono-printing.
