Hello Happy Town!

This week, the Blank Canvas Art Clubbers found out a little more about town planning with the help of Architect, Fi Kirkwood of Kirkwood McCarthy. http://www.kirkwoodmccarthy.com/

The clubbers started out thinking about what they needed in the town (doctors, market, school) and what they wanted (swimming pool, helter skelter, ice rink). They made drawings using pen and watercolour.

They began mapping their town on the floor.....

They drew in roads....

They added in a bit of greenery...they all agreed trees were important.

Finally they named their town...Welcome to Hello Happy Town!
